If you can't see the LPK25 in the intro menu, then it means it's not installed properly. Connect the device, then go to Device Manager (Start > Run > devmgmt.msc) and locate it in the list. If there is anything related to the exclamation marks, then the device needs to be installed again. Right click the device and select Update Drivers. Since it's a plug-n-play device, you don't need additional drivers for this job.
Alternatively, re-install the editor application for the LPK25 device from the official website.
